Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, and other facial expressions cause your skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. In addition as you age some muscles can become stronger than others causing undesirable effects on the surface of your skin. Botox® temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes these problems, to restore your facial features and help your skin look visibly smoother. Botulinum toxin injections is a very fast and simple treatment. You’ll notice your treatment taking effect withing 2 to 14 days, and you can expect your results to last three to four months, depending on the dosage and your unique physiology. Each patient is different!
