Profhilo® is an innovative injectable treatment developed by IBSA, based on stabilized hyaluronic acid. It works by stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin, improving skin tone, elasticity, and hydration without adding volume. How it works
Profhilo® is not a filler nor a traditional biostimulation: it’s a bioremodelling treatment injected in 5 strategic points per side (BAP – Bio Aesthetic Points technique) on the face, neck, décolleté or other target areas. The unique combination of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid spreads within the tissues, stimulating fibroblasts and enhancing skin quality from within.

What to Expect During the Session
The treatment is quick, well-tolerated, and minimally invasive. It involves microinjections in targeted areas and takes approximately 15–30 minutes. No recovery time is required. An initial protocol of 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance treatments every 4–6 months.
Results and Maintenance
Results can be noticed after the first session and continue to improve over time. The skin appears more hydrated, elastic, and toned with a naturally rejuvenated appearance. Maintenance depends on age, skin type, and individual needs.

Is the treatment painful?
Profhilo® is injected using very fine needles in specific points and is generally well tolerated. If needed, a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied before the session.
When will I see the results?
You’ll begin to notice results after the first session, with visibly more hydrated, radiant, and firmer skin. Improvements continue to develop over the following weeks.
How many sessions are needed?
The standard protocol includes 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. For long-term maintenance, a booster treatment is recommended every 4–6 months.
Is Profhilo a filler?
No. Profhilo® is not a filler and does not add volume. It is a bioremodelling treatment based on hyaluronic acid that stimulates collagen and elastin to improve skin quality and firmness.
Where can it be used?
Profhilo® is commonly used on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. It can also be used on other body areas needing tone and firmness, such as the arms or abdomen (see Profhilo Body).
Is it suitable for all ages?
Yes. Profhilo® is suitable for both younger patients showing early signs of skin laxity and mature skin in need of deep tissue regeneration.
Can I go in the sun after the treatment?
It is recommended to avoid direct sun exposure and high heat (such as saunas or steam baths) for at least 48 hoursafter the treatment to reduce the risk of swelling or redness.
What happens if I need to cancel or cannot attend my appointment?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. If you fail to do so, the full treatment fee will be charged, unless serious and verifiable circumstances apply.
How do I pay for my treatment?
Payment is completed in person at the clinic after your appointment. For your convenience, we accept credit and debit cards, TWINT, and cash.
