Intensive collagen stimulation for smoother, younger-looking skin
Medical Microneedling is an advanced medical treatment that uses micro-needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the natural regeneration process. Unlike superficial aesthetic treatments, medical microneedling reaches deeper layers of the skin, delivering more significant improvements in texture, scars, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and pigmentation. We use Dermapen 4, a state-of-the-art device that ensures precision, safety, and consistent results.
How it works
Dermapen 4 uses a handpiece equipped with single-use sterile microneedles, with adjustable depth depending on the area and concern being treated. These micro-channels activate the production of collagen and elastin, enhancing tissue regeneration. During or after the treatment, we apply high-performance active substances such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, Polynucleotides, and exosomes. Exosomes are an innovative advancement in regenerative medicine, offering enhanced cellular repair and healing.

What to Expect During the Session
Each session lasts about 60–70 minutes. After a thorough cleansing and application of a numbing cream, the microneedling is performed. Sensation may range from a mild tingling to warming, depending on the needle depth. At the end of the session, we apply a soothing and regenerating mask with high-concentration nutrients to calm the skin and promote recovery. Downtime varies depending on the depth of the treatment and individual sensitivity, with redness or mild sensitivity lasting from 24 hours to a few days.
Results and Maintenance
Results begin to appear after 7–10 days, with skin looking smoother, firmer, and more even. To achieve optimal and long-lasting results, we recommend a cycle of 3 to 8 sessions, spaced every 3–4 weeks. The number of sessions is customized based on skin condition and goals. After the initial protocol, maintenance treatments every 4–6 months are suggested.

Combination with Other Treatments
To enhance outcomes, medical microneedling can be combined with chemical peels, both superficial and deeper ones, including Dermapen’s own protocols. This synergy allows for a more targeted and personalized approach.

FAQ
What is the difference between medical and aesthetic microneedling?
Medical microneedling is performed by licensed healthcare professionals and can reach deeper skin layers compared to aesthetic treatments. This results in more effective collagen stimulation and longer-lasting results.
Is the treatment painful?
Thanks to the application of numbing cream, the treatment is generally well tolerated. Some patients may feel mild discomfort or warmth, especially in more sensitive areas.
When will I see results?
Visible improvements typically appear within 7–10 days. The skin becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant. Results continue to improve over the following weeks.
How many sessions are needed?
The number of sessions depends on the skin type and the concern being treated. Generally, a cycle of 3 to 8 sessions is recommended, spaced 3–4 weeks apart.
Can I go in the sun after the treatment?
We recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for at least 5–7 days. Daily use of broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential.
Is there anything I can use to cover the redness?
Yes. Dermapen has developed a medical-grade concealing foundation available in multiple shades. It helps even out the skin tone and camouflage post-treatment redness without interfering with skin regeneration.
Discover the perfect shade for you — our team will be happy to advise you during your visit.
What happens if I need to cancel or cannot attend my appointment?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. If you fail to do so, the full treatment fee will be charged, unless serious and verifiable circumstances apply.
How do I pay for my treatment?
Payment is completed in person at the clinic after your appointment. For your convenience, we accept credit and debit cards, TWINT, and cash.
Please note that our Q&A section does not replace a personalised medical consultation. For an individual and comprehensive evaluation, we recommend scheduling a consultation at our clinic. We will be happy to dedicate the necessary time to you.
