Lifting & Biostimulating Threads offer a safe, effective, and minimally invasive solution to lift sagging tissues, reshape facial and body contours, and stimulate deep skin regeneration. The threads used are completely absorbable PDO (polydioxanone) filaments—biocompatible materials long used in surgical practice.
There are two main types:
- Biostimulating threads: smooth and fine, they improve skin quality and density
- Lifting threads: equipped with tiny anchors, they deliver a visible lifting effect while also promoting dermal rejuvenation
How it works
Threads are inserted into the dermis or subcutaneous tissue using fine needles or cannulas.
- Biostimulating threads activate fibroblasts and enhance the natural production of collagen and elastin. They act as a supportive mesh, gradually building a stronger, firmer skin structure.
- Lifting threads provide a mechanical lifting effect immediately, repositioning tissues and redefining facial or body contours while also stimulating the skin through PDO-induced neocollagenesis.
Both types are resorbable and trigger progressive, natural skin regeneration as they dissolve.

What to Expect During the Session
The treatment is performed in a clinical setting. After skin assessment and area mapping, the threads are inserted under local anaesthesia.

What’s the difference between lifting and biostimulating threads?
Biostimulating threads improve skin quality and firmness over time. Lifting threads visibly reposition and lift tissues, while also stimulating deep dermal renewal.
Is the procedure painful?
No. It is performed under local anaesthesia. Some mild tension or swelling may be experienced for a few days.
When are the results visible?
Lifting threads provide an immediate effect, which continues to improve. Biostimulating threads show results after 3–4 weeks, with progressive enhancement.
What should I expect after the treatment?
You may experience mild swelling, bruising or a feeling of tightness in the treated area, especially with lifting threads. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. In most cases, you can return to daily activities immediately, avoiding intense physical effort or facial massages for the first 72 hours. Final results improve gradually over the following weeks.
How long do the results last?
- Biostimulating threads: approx. 6 months
- Lifting threads: 12–18 months, depending on the area and individual skin response
Can the threads be combined with other treatments?
Yes. They work well with botulinum toxin, fillers, laser treatments, biorevitalisation and mesotherapy protocols.
What happens if I need to cancel or cannot attend my appointment?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. If you fail to do so, the full treatment fee will be charged, unless serious and verifiable circumstances apply.
How do I pay for my treatment?
Payment is completed in person at the clinic after your appointment. For your convenience, we accept credit and debit cards, TWINT, and cash.
