iPixel Laser – Fractional Resurfacing

The Pixel 2940 nm treatment, part of the Alma Laser Harmony XL Pro platform, is an advanced fractional ablative laser technology designed for deep skin rejuvenation and the correction of multiple skin imperfections. With its targeted action, it significantly improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles, scars, and enlarged pores, while effectively treating superficial skin lesions such as keratoses, warts, and epidermal nevi.

The Pixel 2940 nm uses fractional ablative technology: the Er:YAG laser precisely creates micro-columns of ablation in the skin’s surface. This means that only selected portions of the skin are treated, while the surrounding skin remains intact.
The healthy skin between the treated micro-columns plays a fundamental role: it accelerates the healing process by stimulating deep tissue regeneration.
Thanks to this advanced strategy, the treatment achieves effective skin renewal while reducing recovery time compared to fully ablative lasers.
The production of new collagen and elastin is deeply stimulated, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin over time.

The healthy skin left between the laser-treated micro-columns acts as a natural bridge for regeneration, accelerating healing and boosting the production of new collagen and elastin.
It’s thanks to this cutting-edge technology that we achieve deep rejuvenation with shorter recovery times compared to traditional laser treatments.

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied before treatment to maximise comfort. During the procedure, you may feel an intense warmth and a light prickling sensation.
After the session, the skin will appear red and slightly swollen, followed by peeling in the days after treatment.
This is an outpatient procedure, and you can gradually return to your daily activities after a few days of recovery.

Initial results are visible around 7–10 days post-treatment, with continuous improvement over the following weeks as natural skin regeneration occurs. Depending on individual needs, 1 to 3 sessions are recommended, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Annual maintenance sessions can help to preserve and extend the benefits.

The regenerative process triggered by the Pixel laser continues well beyond the session: collagen production keeps increasing for several months, progressively enhancing skin firmness and tone over time.
