How it works
Fat is harvested from a donor area of the body (typically the abdomen, flanks, or thighs) using gentle liposuction. What to expect during surgery
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the extent of treatment. It typically lasts 1.5–2 hours and is done on an outpatient basis. Mild swelling and bruising are normal in the first few days.

Initial swelling gradually resolves within 7–10 days. A portion of the transferred fat is naturally reabsorbed, so the final result stabilizes after approximately 3 months.
