Reduce double chin and define your facial contours with a precise, minimally invasive approach
Chin liposuction is a minimally invasive surgical procedure designed to remove localized fat beneath the chin, commonly referred to as a “double chin.” It creates a more defined, balanced profile and enhances the jawline and neck contour for a slimmer and more harmonious appearance.
How it works
A small incision is made beneath the chin, through which a fine cannula is inserted to gently remove excess fat using a suction device. The procedure may be performed alone or in combination with other treatments, such as neck lift or jawline contouring.
Aesthetic Benefits
- Elimination of double chin
- Slimmer and more defined profile
- Enhanced jawline definition
- Improved neck contour
- Natural and balanced result
Treatable Areas
- Submental area (under the chin)
- Submandibular region
- Upper neck (in selected cases)
What to expect during surgery
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, with or without sedation. It lasts about 30–60 minutes and is done on an outpatient basis. A compression garment is applied and must be worn for several days to support healing and enhance results.
Recovery & Results
Swelling is common during the first few days and gradually subsides within 1–2 weeks.
Results become visible within a few days, and continue to improve over the course of 1–3 months.
The outcome is long-lasting, especially when paired with healthy lifestyle habits and good skin elasticity.

FAQ
Is the scar visible?
No. The incision is very small (a few millimeters) and hidden under the chin, making it nearly invisible once healed.
Is the procedure painful?
It is generally well tolerated. Mild discomfort or tightness may be felt in the first few days, easily managed with medication.
Are the results permanent?
Yes, the removed fat cells do not regenerate. However, maintaining a stable weight is essential to avoid new fat deposits.
Can it be combined with other procedures?
Yes. Chin liposuction is often combined with neck lifting, jawline definition, or fat grafting to enhance the overall result.
